View Full Version : Beaulieu and Santa Pod.
Hi there you South Wales gang.
Just a few thoughts running through my head about some different shows to go to this year. Myself and my better half would love to have some friends there from our neck of the woods, so to speak. Yes, you do have to travel to them, Beaulieu is about 2-3 hours and Santa Pod is 4 hours at my driving speed!! Which as MikeyT4 will tell you, is SLOW!! :D
So Here they are, Beaulieu - A chilled relaxed weekend with like minded people who funnily enough, all have the same type of van as you!! Plenty of room to camp and for 50 quid you get entry to the motor museum as well, bargain.
Santa Pod, VW Action - Been for the last 2 years and what can I say, a brilliant weekend, once you are bored of the show n shine, stalls trying to sell you their wares, the auto jumble, you can go up onto the banking or into the stalls and watch the drag racing and have a few bevvies. Again met a few top class guys off the forum and had a chilled weekend with good weather and good company.
Basically, even tho we have had a good time at these shows we want our S Wales buddies to experience them as well! So let me know and get your names down.

if you remember paul...you did not invite any females to santa pod last year...hence: it was you that wanted to make santa pod a boys only event..

There seems to be some misunderstanding over an event last year in the past, I’m sure nothing was meant by having a boys only event, there are many female owners on here these days which I can assure you are very active in attending events and shows.

Time is ticking if you want to go to the T4 Bash at Beaulieu. The cut-off date for tickets is very near and you can only get your tickets from Jimbo. So come on, if you fancy it get your tickets now before its too late! H:

As for Santa Pod you can pay at the gate, that way if its piddling down you dont have to go! :(

Just got to say, Cheers Novo, Mikey T4, Uberlucky and Mastmonkey for a Great Weekend, no i rephrase that an 'Uber weekend'. A:
It was a shame your weekend was cut short Billy but it was great having a beer with you and that pastis drink was very very nice indeed.
To sum it up Fab weather, Fab location and fab company but over too soon :(
Next time i'll get the wife to bring along some sedatives along in case of unwanted visitors so we can dump them over in the forest out of everybodys way I: LOL:

Great venue, great weather, great company, well worth the 3.5hr trip there (or was it longer!!)
Sad to see Billy go on saturday afternoon, but work calls and you got to go with his job. It'll be good to see you at Santa Pod, hopefully.

Well guys, Thank You for coming with us to Beaulieu. Its a bit of a trek but the scenery is fantastic and the venue is great, a chilled out weekend had by all. :D

Santa Pod is next on the agenda, weather permitting!! If its wet, no good going cos they wont run the drag strip!

Sry i never made it Guys, got stuck on the M25 Again :cool: didnt get home untill after 8, and was knackered, next year ill book the friday off...;)
Nice to see you Guys 'n' Gals again, Didn't see the weekend out though...
Had Fry up Saturday morning, had a wander round and watched RWYB on track 'til Lunchtime, didn't feel 100% so packed up and buggered off home!

Cracking weekend with great company at a great venue. The rain held off till lunch time sunday and then boy, did it come down! :GL
