View Full Version : Dorset - Bakers Arms - Hecky
As from monday the 4th of August, The Dorset meet will re-start at the 'Bakers Arms' Pub on the 1st monday of every month.
It is a nice pub with a large car park where we can meet/chat/drink/eat etc and discuss all things T4/5,
If you haven't done this before, dont be afraid, you wont be the only one.
If we say, meet at 6.30-7.00 and we can just take it from there and see how things progress.
Please show interest below

well we had 7 vans turn up so not bad for the 1st one, most of them being new faces for me which is good. i know there are a lot more in the area so i will be handing out flyers very soon.

Sorry I didn't make it down had a few problems with a washing maching splitting a hose and leaking water all over the kitchen, so if it's any consolation, I got wet whilst you had a reasonably dry day.
Sorry I missed you all got there at 16.15 and it was just the long stayers left T4 Sam, Hecky & his crew, hopefully will make it a little earlier next month when the date is sorted (Luke to advise) roll on the spring !!!!

Evening everyone - Just planning how we can squeeze every ounce out of the Christmas period - There is a Jetski do in the Solent that weekend too, just found out today its on the Sunday the 4th .... 2 events in one weekend.
RESULT !!!!!
Just waiting to hear back from some friends we are hoping to stop the Saturday night with, to drop the Ski off, then we will be heading straight over to the Sammy Miller Museum, oh yes and hot Mince Pies.

If you from Boscombe , I am based here too. It is not easy to find what you looking for I found one after searching for 8 months......and when I got I had huge problems BUT they were all resolved and true to his word the dealership forked out the money to pay for the bill!

Bournemouth's not really white van man country, my boss got a nice one, £3200 120k 02 plate 2.5tdi 88bhp lwb, but it was in Enfield London! Loads on Van trader if you can travel!

Sorry all, been a hectic few weeks. The march meet will be on the 8th at Lulworth castle followed by a drive to Tyneham.
As for April, we will resume the 1st monday of the month meets at the Bakers Arms if that's ok with you guys. More details to follow about Lulworth.

As Paxo said, we have made a slight change of plan to the April meet. it will be at the HOLTON CLASSICS show at Holton Heath on sunday the 5th and in May it will go back to being the 1st monday of the month (4th) at the Bakers Arms.

i know it, but never seen the name of the pub as i am usually lining up round the roundabout to show the in the posh car behind that it really isnt as fast as a van ;)
