Can anyone recommend waterproof seat covers for a Variotech rear seat? Its to protect the cloth when we go surfing in the van. So far, using lots of spare towels! I've searched but not found anything that looks ok and is a reasonable cost. Thanks

hey buddy.... i've got some awesome seat covers at the moment.. They're made by a company called town & country.. I had a captain seat and a double bench... Both fitted perfectly... Had the mates dog in there and he decided to all over the seats then try and bury it into the seat... The 'liquid' just beads off and he couldn't scratch his way into them.. They're quite expensive, but i've been thru loads of seat covers both for surfing and the dog... But these are poss the best i've ever owned... And they look pretty sharp too... Gimme a pm if you wanna know any more...

Cheers for the input!
Its the rear variotec seat I want to protect though. The front seats even I can find covers for..
Slammedviper - interested in your comments on the town & country covers. I saw these over at a shop in the Witterings. I think they're the way I'll go. Just need to check size of the Variotech compared to a front bench.

Let me know how you get on Rob, as I have also been looking for a cover to my 3/4 width Variotech.

Found the town and country website with a store locator if anyone wants to know... They only do fits for transits (boo hiss) in their commercial section, but if you go into one of their stores then they should be able to recommend one that will fit.. Different sizes available too... http://www.townandcountrycovers.com/stores.html

I've ordered a complete set of these in the 100% waterproof material. Including a set for the back folding double seat.
Whole lot is costing £79 and they're making the back one up especially. Turtle covers, a friendly chap called Marc.

Should get them tomorrow so I'll let you know what they're like.

Just got my van back from the menders A: A: A: so I'll try and get pics up later or tomorrow morning but on first inspection straight out the packet they look very good indeed.

Well, I got them out and because of my own mistake, the rear ones didn't have a gap for the arm rest. No problem, I emailed and Marc at Turtle covers said to send it back and they'd alter it free of charge if I could just indicate where the arm rest joined.

Got the rear one back today and it's fantastic. I'm really pleased. I've got the van in bits at the minute but when I get it back together I'll take pics and post them up. But for £79 I've got a set of stylish and very functional waterproof seats. I can heartily recommend them.
