Following on from our trip to Jodrel Bank in 2010, I thought I would try another educational (sort of) trip. Something a bit more out of the ordinary for our meets, suitable for both old and young kids.

Plan is to meet up at the attraction or if people want to, we could arrange a different meeting point and cruise there as a group. I have been onto the organisers and they say they have a car park which should be able to accomodate us. Parking is either £2 or £3 depending on how long we stay there.

You have the option of walking around the visitors centre/cafe/attraction for nothing, staying in car park talking usual nonsense or taking a boat ride or ride on the boat lift (both at extra cost)

Never been ther myself, but looks like a good day out.

Hello, We meet on the first sunday of each month at the Bakers arms pub near Lytchet minster, Poole Its on the Dorchester road just off the A35. The postcode is BH16 6JF for sat nav etc.

Its a nice pub with a large carpark. The landlord Richard is very welcoming to our group. They have a large flat Gravel area next to the beer garden where we park on the right hand side.
We always fly the forum flag and have the banner up so folks can see us. Check the Regional area threads for photos etc from the meets.
All vans welcome in whatever state from work hacks to show winners . T4s, T5s, All VAG welcome. We have cruises out to the Quay and Beaches and meet in the summer months for BBQs and socials. I also book for tyhe local shows and we always get a nice level spot for camping and the Forum club stand.
