Default Alternative bed layout advice...?

Hi All,
I've lined and floored my r reg T4 and want to have an 'L' shaped bench that converts to a full width bed, the shorter part behind the driver/passenger seats. I'm on a tight budget and really please with the conversion so far. I've trawled the net looking for examples/plans with no luck. If anyone has any advice or pics I'd be really grateful - even buy you a pint!
Cheers
Nick

That looks really nice, such a nice layout.
Im currently looking at converting my T5 (again) and do it properly! Does you know if you can by law carry passangers on a side facing seat? Your rear removable seat is also a nice solution and would work well for my cause, as I would need my van to be a camper as well as a van.

Upholstery made by a mate ( 5" memory foam well comfy), 12mm birch ply and bits of oak etc from work one 300mm base unit from B&Q, a metal table leg to support corner of bed 2 Ikea plastic shoe boxes. Bed is 2000 x 1400mm. Been in almost 5 years and worked well...

Since these pics were taken I've carpeted all my b and c pillar metalwork and extended the cupboard forward closer to drivers seat, taken out the big speaker box, and mounted my eberspacher under it.
Sorry to bore those who've seen it before, but for two people it's been really useful and we've spent at least 200 nights in it now, probably more.
I can take out all but one bed cushion, the return for the L shape across the back and have a single bed and room for a stack of windsurf kit or a bike inside too.

It's your friends, come hell or high water.

That's great guys. Given me some good ideas for my own conversion. After measuring the height of my two sons I think I'm going to go for two benches on each wheel arch that fold into the bed. Will post the results on here!
