Look great.

Has anyone used the leather EBay covers? Are they any good?

Very nice Alan!

Totally ripped my old flocked dash setup and did it again from scratch, went for an OEM+ look.

Thanks... that's a lot of buttons you have there! Loving the cup holders, tried a similar thing myself but ended up going for the westfalia dash tidy on top of the dash with cup holders in it. Is that a boost gauge next to the vents? And more gauges on top of the door cards?

Hey Alan...

Yes, that is a boost gauge but so much more.
It is a PLX device that links to your ODBII and is able to display anything you like, four at a time.
As well as being able to add extra sensors to it, which I have done for the boost.

The door cards are a work in progress. The gauges in there were put in by the previous owner and I am not a fan of them, specially as I can get all the info I need displayed on the PLX device.

I have done a full write up on the dash install, if you are interested:

Thanks for that, have thought about retrofitting MFA to mine but didn't think I'd be able to find the right clocks that read in MPH, or transfer my mileage over, now I know it can be done will definitely look into it again. I like the idea of the gauge hooking up to the diagnostics but for the time being I want to keep the dash with an OEM look...
