Default Mechanical help needed please sos

Hi all , not sure of were else to turn so I hope someone can help with my issue I'm having.

I have a 2010 crafter 2.5, about 3 months ago it went into limp mode(no lights on dash) turned the engine of and back on and all fine.
Ever since then every morning and if the van is left for about 2 hrs when I first start it's in go slow mode until I turn my engine off and back on again all is fine again. And quite often when driving it will go slow agin. What's happening if the actuator arm is not coming down ( no vacuum) until I turn the engine of and on again and hey presto all good.
I've recently took it to the mechanics and they don't know why it's doing it!!😡 They have tried the solenoid and checked everything, all fine . They said it could be an ecu fault but they are not sure.

Has anyone any ideas I can try? I'm quite handy so will try anything. Just need it sorting

Thanks Rick

You could check the pedal switches.

Electrics for camper vans and work vehicles.
