Good Afternoon,

My name is Daniel Clark and I have been an employee of Adrian Flux Insurance for 20 years now since starting with the company a week after I finished school.
I am currently overseeing a project within the Marketing and research dept and have devised a strategy that I believe will be of benefit to your members.
During my 20 years of service I have gained experience in various areas of the business, gradually working my way up to the position of Floor Supervisor for the new business department managing in excess of 150 staff.
The project involves the continued growth of interest in the Internet and the ease at which it allows people to communicate their views and opinions to a worldwide audience.
I have noticed your forum is busy and has a wide range of topics discussed but the areas I am specifically interested in are the issues raised surrounding your members experiences with insurance.
What I propose is the possibility of myself becoming a contact point on your forum for any of your members who have general insurance queries or specific problems with Adrian Flux & Co.
I can assure you I would be completely impartial despite being on the pay roll of Adrian Flux & Co. If we have messed up I will acknowledge that and make efforts to get it corrected, if the member does not understand an insurers viewpoint I will endeavour to clearly explain it.
It could be they have encountered problems ranging from simple paperwork issues to major claim disputes. With my years of experience I will be able to answer most queries immediately, if there were issues or a problem that I couldn’t answer directly I would ensure the relevant manager investigated these and I would then be able to relay an answer.
I will be available to offer impartial advice, help and support, which I could only see as a benefit to your members and which, will also allow us to improve our levels of service in the areas that your members feel are most important.

I look forward from hearing from you in the near future with your views and opinions and I hope you feel I will be able to offer a valuable service to your members. In the mean time if you have any questions regarding any of the above please feel free to contact me.

Thank you for your time.

Daniel Clark.

I have been insured by Adrian Flux for a few years now. A year ago i was driving my T4 and paying just over £400 a year fully comp with everything declared. Now i own my T5 and fully comp im paying £890 with 5 years+ no claims and no convictions or points. This is a massive difference i think youll agree and unfortunately i think ill be looking elswhere when my renewal comes around. the 15% discount offer sounds great but unfortunately i dont think it would do me much good.

adrian flux no different from other brokers and are the same company as bikesure, just kampers, herts (hic) and sterling just trade under different names and when you get a price from one they will not undercut the other. (dont blame them).|There customer service is above average for a broker by all means give them a try i do and have had several policies with them but do try brenacre, 2gether insurance and so on,
how much commission does the forum make from this, when i spoke to steve and jimbo about a deal 2yrs ago the forum were going to get £20 per policy sold plus 5%commision on the inception price as most brokers charge an admin fee when you set up and they make between 10-15% com from the insurer, i wanted this money to pay for a t4forum stall at shows and items to promote the forum i know it s not for profit org but we could do so much maybe even buy up scrap vans for spares to be sold cheaper etc . come on flux what apart from a discount that nobody sees or can proves as no doubt most of your schemes are delegated and then its not really a discount you just lose a bit off the price, can you boys step up to the mark and offer something different to any other company.

I had the joy of re-insuring the bus this week... after a little phone round of the usual companies (some mentioned in this thread), I decided to take a punt and call Adrian Flux and see how good this forum discount is. I've had a few quotes from them over the years and always found them obscenely expensive so I wasnt expecting much, but this time round they came up trumps. They beat the renewal from my previous insurer (comfort Insurance) by £40, and the next best quote by just over £10, leaving me paying £271 fully comp on my DVLA re-registered 2.5 tdi. Just for the record, I'm 30, with a full ncb to play with.

I had a good chat with Adrian Flux today and am moving my insurance to them. A proper understanding of my van, warts and all including PSI powerbox chip, resulting in a wholly acceptable premium.

All better now !

All about being able to talk with people who are interested. Spoke directly with Daniel as I felt (as usual maybe) that I had been a bit harsh in my viewpoint. But, that was the point, for me as joe public with not-quite-out-of-the-factory-van, I didn't want to be paying over the odds, but wanted to discuss, clearly what had been done to mod the van and so be covered adequately. Whilst still, of course paying a sensible price.

Aah good...I'm glad.

Insurers often get a bad rap for one reason or another and it's good to see that with a little pers'nl service they can make good

Relish my uno !!!!!
