Import announcement for Sunday 8th of July

We are sorry to inform you that we cannot accept any day visitors on Sunday 8th of July (this includes any show and shine entries) due to adverse weather, resulting in poor ground conditions.

All pre-ordered Sunday day tickets will be refunded within the following week of the show. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and hope you understand our decision.

Please pass this message on to any friends or family that may have plans to attend on Sunday.

We want to make a few things extra super clear for this weekend!
Firstly and most importantly, Camper Jam 2012 is still going ahead! We've had a few showers at Weston Park this week, but not enough to cause any problems.
Weekend camping tickets are SOLD OUT and there will NOT be any on the gate for purchase.
Day tickets for Saturday will still be for sale at the gate.
Don't forget: Bring all of your wristbands and vehicle passes with you. We won't have ANY replacement adult wristbands, we will have some spare child wristbands should you need them.

We were only able to go for the Saturday, so as it looked like the monsoon had passed we ventured out.
It was good that the event went ahead, and it sounds like it was a good weekend for those who camped,
but...
even though we read the posts that it was still on, and all the organisers worked hard to make it a success, i was a little disappointed that as a day visitor, after a two and half hour drive, most of the things i wanted to see weren't there.
I had a big shopping list which i'd saved for the day, and almost all of the traders i wanted to see either didn't turn up, or were packing up on Saturday afternoon. I was also looking forward to the show and shine for some inspirational ideas, but except for a few hardened syncros it wasn't on!

I think the camping weekend would have been good, but as a day visitor, it wasn't great...
I know no-one is to blame, it's the English summer after all, but if it's on, then folk should turn out.
Overall we had a good day, but I still have a big shopping list and muddy boots, and a week less to finish the van!

the show and shine was on sunday .there was supposed to be a t4 t5 line up on saturday
but it was cancelled a few of the leices region were booked in to do it ,but if we had moved are vans we would have never got back
do we still get are plaque for trying
