Just something I have picked up on and I might have completely the wrong end of the stick but when specing a new T6 with 18" wheels some of them require you to add upgrades to suspension, shocks and anti-roll bars. For all those adding bigger wheels / lowering etc is this something they need to worry about. With all the steering knocks identified on the T5 do you think VW know something we don't?? Be interested to know if anyone running these big wheels etc is asking for trouble further down the line.... guess only time will tell!

Rumour has it, http://www.dubtvans.co.uk/news-our-views-rumours/, that VW Commercial Vehicles in Germany are saying that you shouldn't lower a T6 with DCC or ACC. To the point of if your dealer has already done it they should reverse it.

Can't find it on http://www.volkswagen-nutzfahrzeuge.de but a) didn't expect to and b) my German isn't that good.

For sure VW are bound to say that any kind of radical lowering is frowned on but I really can't see where 30 or 40mm would have such a detrimental affect. Indeed any lowering that still leaves the van riding within the std laden parameters has to be OK.

Saying nothing doesn't mean I have no opinion.
It may mean I don't think you are ready to hear it.

Are the T6 springs equal to the T5? Looking for Eibach 30 mm for my T6 with a 1550 kg front axle, and I'm wondering if the Eibach E10-85-013-01-22 will fit.

50mm eibach springs, fantastic. Last van I had was fitted with 40mm H&R and have to say the eibach are a plusher ride.

Got the 30 mm Eibach kit mounted today. It dropped 40 mm on the front and 5 mm at the rear. Hope it settles at bit on the rear end, as it has a slight nose dive now...

Anyone lowered a T6 with LED headlights?

I've got some Bilstein B14 coilovers to fit at the week end, but I've got a horrible feeling they're gonna make the headlights set themselves too low because of the position of the level sensors on the rear making the van think it fully loaded.
Or does the T6 have sensors on the front too?

Any recommendations of somewhere in Bath/ Bristol to code the van after if needed and maybe fit them for me as I'm feeling lazy.
I want the high beam assist speeds changing anyway.
