I've recieved an email from the lady who supplied my engine cover and i can confirm that the part no W7H5 119 512 Q Engine cover is the same part for 1.9 and 2.5 engines. The only other part i used was W7H5 103 943 X 2. Which screws onto the 2 screws which are on the scuttle pointing down into the engine bay. Hope this helps you all regards Mark.

Anyone know the part no for plastic trim around inside door handle on barn door.

Here you go guys

HTH's visualise the changes. None of the R8 caps line up straight on the T5 which detracts from what they offer. I think if I where offered these for free I'd give them a miss, they just don't fit in with the look of the engine bay IMHO

Also I think I'm done with the engine cover, I've lost count of the number of times I've had to take that f****r off and I'm almost certain it doesn't make the van quieter to drive. In order to fit it of course you need to change the bonnet support to a gas strut rather than the 'tent pole' that comes as standard. The gas strut is totally worth and a big improvement. I'm just fed up with removing this dam thing... Another 2.2kg's lost

I've got the R8 caps on mine.
Got to look how to straighten them up. I know it can be done as a company has done it for anothe engine.
Are you selling the cover then Ruds?

I guess if you can separate the parts of the caps you can re position them where they need to be. I haven't examined them but I'm guessing they either clip together or are glued, if that's the case maybe put them in the oven to separate the glue.

PM me re the cover, I will sell it if anyone interested.
