Default AES Auto gearbox casing thread repair

Hi
The gearbox on my bus is leaking like a sieve.
Some of the sump bolt holes have had their threads stripped by previous owners and I have to admit me.
I have been able to re-thread a couple but a couple are beyond repair so under normal circumstances I would drill out and re-thread. Which someone has actually done on one of the holes.
The issue with this is the sump gasket and it's metal inserts.
I have been looking at options, and would like to learn about other peoples experiences.
1. Drill out and rethread, ditch the rubber gasket and use a liquid gasket.
2. Use something like a helicoil thread repair kit to keep size of bolts the same.
3. Use a liquid metal epoxy to fill the hole, re-drill and re-thread.
4. Use a low temperature aluminium weld repair kit to repair and re-thread.

Any other suggestions very much welcome.

Is the casing aluminium or an alloy?

What are the original bolt sizes?

Thanks in advance
