Default A trip to Hamburg

So, I'm off on a stag do to Hamburg in April and due to my crippling fear of flying I'm going over in the van and meeting all the lads there.

Ferry booked from Harwich overnight to the Hook of Holland and then driving up to Hamburg.

I've done a search on here for anyone that has made the trip and read a few bits but does anyone have any advice/recommendations on driving there?

Anywhere to avoid or make sure I visit?

I will be arriving Friday late afternoon and coming back on the Monday.

We will be going to a Hamburg football match whilst there.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks.

Check to see if any of the areas you are visiting are covered by an emissions zone. Most vehicles from overseas are usually included.

Went that way last year and it was nightmare for roadworks.....and none of them looked any where near to finishing ....so expect delays
