Default Radio Controlled - Tamiya

Looks like Tamiya are bring out a Wild style split screen camper in Feb next year.

Already spoilt for choice with all their Vintage VW releases.

I now have a new toy to add to my wish list.

If this floats your boat, also worth checking out the videos and pictures on Tamiya101 site. If you are of a certian age it will bring a tear to your eye remembering your child hood and being envious of the rich kids with their radio controlled cars.

My 59 year old dads got a red version of the original wild in his attic.
We used to drool at it and were never allowed to touch it...grumpy git...

Tamiya have released almost all of their 80s back catalogue, or thats what it seems like to me.

Thing is, didn't have the money then (parents!) don't have the money now (parent!) ironic......

I used to have the Schmacher Storm truck and my cousin had the Tamiya bigfoot. Good laugh back in the 80s

Good stuff

I had (still do somewhere) a tamiya madcap.

Can remember re-making virtually all the bits that broke, chassis from 4mm duralium, alu wish bones, shock mounts etc...

Re-wound 540 motors... Happy days
