when doing propoer slalom you do need the power unfortunatly outher wise you end up stoping the boat as you cut or end up draging the boat sideways not a very good pic but this is ours

For anyone who thinks that boating is expensive then 3k will see u a boat like this is tidy order (if ur in the right place at the right time!!!)

Then it's about 20-30 petrol per full day on the water. 100 to insure, 30 Council permit.

It's actually a cheap sport to get into, if u call lounging around with a BBQ and a beer a sport!!!!

P.S I reckon around 10,000 would get u the Jet Ski also!

Nice boat Gaz! You'll be ripping along the water in no time!

Thats just showing off!!!

And Andy, if i told u that i meant to get going on the intial pull.

The mistake people make is to try and pull themselves up! Let the boat do the pulling, KEEP UR ARMS STRAIGHT!!!

And when learning on two skis keep a bend in ur knees to absorb the bumps!!!!

I have use of a 6 mtr rib with a 100hp on the back or a 4mtr with a 40, maybe not as quick as your boat Gaz but fast for its use as a teaching or Safety boat for dinghy sailing!

What a great little speed boat, funny seeing it next to a modern jet ski to get an idea of size.

Bet its a lot more civilised than the ski as well

Hey Gaz, I took a shot of a boat at Chasewater (big reservior near me) that looks just like yours:

It was going at a fair rate when I took the pic!
It was also being used for the waterskiing!
