Thinking of starting over and going full width with just a pod behind the drivers seat, might be difficult as I'd done all my electrics under the drivers seat and have a swivel double on the passenger which I don't want to lose, I'd also be interested if anyone is thinking of a swap to 3/4 in place fabric but that's a long shot.
Hi
I recently bought a 2013 T5 that came with a full-width, TuV crash-tested bed.
I'm thinking of replacing it with a 3/4 width bed to enable me to fit some side cupboards.
It has VW fabric on the seats, and is really comfortable ... just too wide.
Regards
Roger
I'm in France at the moment, without my camper. I only return to the UK on 15 Nov; so I can't send you any photos.
However, here is the link to the website of the bed manufacturer / fitter in Germany. (http://www.varius-reisemobile.de/?page_id=519)
The best thing about this bed is that it it is so easy to transform from seat to bed. The only other one that I've seen that's as easy is the RIB Altair, which is the one I'm considering.
