Default Has anyone changed a Trooper roof to larger?

Hi

I'm looking at an Autosleeper trooper and know that my boys will eventually grow out of it. Has anyone ever changed the roof on one to a larger and longer elevating roof? It might be worth getting if that's possible in the future. Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

...the very last factory built (as opposed to sub-contracted) Troopers had a conventional fabric rear hinged elevating roof - and it was electric operated - so it is a fact that an alternative is possible...though the cost might be considerable.
Might be worth contacting Autosleepers themselves for advice.

I've got used to my Trooper "box" now, but I've always preferred the side hinged type, two big windows and full headroom throughout.

Thanks. Just don't think we will be able to use for too long with growing kids. I'm not fussed about an actual autosleeper roof, would try any, but will look into it, thanks J

With growing children you might be better off with a high top...your best bet might be the high top version of the Trooper - the Trident.
