genesis amps and speakers

anybody had any experience with Gen amps and speakers, looking for a finer sound and have been told this is car audiophile kit? any help

They've got a good reputation for sound quality, not 'boy racer' thump but clean clear sound. Probably benefit froma good hi-end head unit. Maybe an Alpine unit with dsp features so you can set it up to compensate for the less than ideal van interior. I'd say go for it. I'm looking to replace my alpine amp for a genesis one at some point. I run focal speakers and am happy with them, and a rather old vibe 10" sub which isn't great but I only paid pennies for it so I can't complain too much.

awesome stuff , not cheap and i think it could be wasted in a van unless its sound proofed and isolated

u down the road?, be good to talk, trying to get a bose/acoustimas type sound, don't give much for banging type o sound e, looking for quality AV sound, possible firewire controlled 5.1 or 7.1 , no head unit all controlled by a carputer, please PM me if happy to chat, regards E
