T4 Post Icon ACV Diesel Timing

Struggling to get my T4 running.

Timed diesel pump up to the mark on the casing and pully. And also to the engine at TDC.

Still cant get the thing to run.

Cheers,

TDI timing is critical. The marks are not accurate at all and can only be used as a very rough guide.Infact they are pretty much useless.
Try adjusting a little at a time until it will start then get it to someone who has vagcom so they can check where the timing is and adjust it correctly

You need specialist gear on these engines, not seen many home mechanics get one running yet, it's an easy job with the right tools, without them you're p!$$ing in the wind.........
