got my rear spoiler delivered today going to fit tomorrow,any tips on fitting lining it up

hi, i just offered it up dry [ without the bonder ] marked it with some tape or chalk on the roof and the spoiler, then apply the bonder / glue line up the tape and when your happy with it ,use some masking tape to hold it in place for a few hours , not too long or the masking tape will be a bas,,,d to get off

yeah you should find that the lead edge of spoiler lines up with the edge of the door, I did use the screws which means drilling! but I do believe some people only used the sikaflex to bond it

think im going to try without the screws just use adhesive fingers crossed should be ok

Had to have mine sprayed, so guy spraying it will fit it as well, screws go in the bin don't drill holes in your van m8

mine isnt screwed on,i was worried about it,but it aint moved in almost a year,so i wouldnt drill holes in your van,
just make sure you have a stong silicone gun and arms like popeye to get the sealent out of the tube. ![]()

If it genuine thats a hell of a price, where was that on e bay, mine came direct from VW, unpainted as not available in colour I needed cost £170.

mines fine , been flat out [at 70 officer] and it aint fell of yet |
