Yepp, way to go. Many favour them on bikes too
Huge benefit as they should be stainless & thereby have extended lifeline. Used on high end vehicles & in motorsports is reassuring I have these for my other wheels http://www.goodridge.net Have not checked availability for T4 though

dont use too much as they make the brakes feel like unless you restrain them every 50mm or so.
too much and they move. which is why you only use them on the flexy bits and use the solid tube on the non moving parts. |

Goodridge ..... look somewhere else. if you do then check that the fittings have been crimped onto the hoses, I've had two sets from them before and in one the packs one of the fittings wasn't even crimped onto the hose. The second set a hose blew away from the fitting, at the time it happened I was just pulling out of a car park but 10 minutes earlier it would of been a totally different situation.
The funny thing is that in the pack there is a certificate saying that they were checked before they were packed, or not so funny !!!! They did offer to send some more but it kind of makes you wonder. Any good motorbike shop will make them up for you or sell you the parts to do it yourself. But if your not sure let someone else do it who knows how to make them up. |
