T5 Post Icon T5 Shuttle Rear heater blowing cold

T5 130 Auto '56 with rear aircon and 321,000miles. Just noticed rear blower is only blowing cold. All the overhead controls work as they should, but no heat. Front heat is OK, but slow to warm up. I've had this bus from new so know the history. Had waterpump change at about 125k, nothing touched on coolant system since. Not sure if coolant has been changed since and never been flushed. Just wondering (before I get all wet) if their might be an electrical issue somewhere. Also, noticed that auxiliary coolant heater sometimes stays on all the time when very cold outside (it shuts off 5mins after switching off motor though). Might be connected, I dunno. Any clues?? Cheers, Tony.

Hi mate think its a motor in the blower take cover off and there is a white plastic arm which moves a flap for hot and cold the motor that moves the arm is prone to go.

Spot on Mr graemesignman, many thanks. Just popped the poly connector off and wedged the flap actuator with a stick and full heat in the back. I'll take the stick out come summer http://www.vwt4forum.co.uk/images/icons/icon6.gif many thanks, Tony.
