T4 Post Icon Brake vacuum pump

I need to replace the vacuum pump on my van. Have read lots of posts about this and got some great info about how to go about it / merits of trying servicing pump first / replacing pushrod only etc.

Can anyone confirm whether or not there is an 'inbetween' brand of affordable / reliable replacement pump and best place to get one? IE somewhere inbetween the VW genuine (very pricey) and the flEbay Polish ones (cheap but don't last very long?)

Cheers

Hey Mikeys, I have just replaced mine today with one I got off of carparts4less. It was a Dansk make. I read up and it seemed to be a reasonable substitute. Was also fairly cheap as i had a voucher for them. I guess I will know in the next few months if its pants. Its the same one that euro car parts sells for 50 more.

Hope that helps.

Goodomens.
