t5.1 mfsw retrofit

Eve all.
Ok ive read many threads on this but I still need to confirm if my instrument cluster and body control module are suitable for this .
My bcm is 5k0937087sz0r
My cluster is 2k0920975ex which is low line.
I would like illumination of the steering wheel controls along with operation of radio controls via left button.
Can anyone confirm if this will work?

This would work fine. Just the right hand buttons on the steering wheel will not work, only the left ones which are for the radio. T:

As an extra note, when coded will this bring up mpg/ fuel remainding etc on the dash?
These module specs are ok then ?

Pretty sure 087 modules are ok for all you need, which you seem to have.

You'll need to wire in three repair wires from your clock spring plug to the cluster, then activate MFD in VCDS to get trip functions.
This will then allow you to use the right sided buttons to flick between trip measurements.

These 3 repair wires to the instrument cluster are additional to the 2 bcm wires required?

Yes. You are splitting this into two jobs here - one being a MFSW retrofit, the other being a DIS retrofit

Will need the buttons on the wiper storks to be able to scroll through the display options as the MFSW buttons on the right don't work with the recoding of a lowline display.

It did on my mates via MFSW & stalks (repair wires added to make it midline)
