just tried one of the wheels on the van for the first time and dont think the colour of the wheels will be to dark once the van has been painted

do have a bit of a worry that there is about 11cm between the and the bottom arch tho so im not sure what the best springs are to go for. any input on this would be great

well its been a while since i updated this as ive not had a lot of time to put in to the van and had also lost a bit of interested in it which it almost came to the point of giving up and selling it as a unfinished project. it has not helped that its cost just over 1700 to get this far and its still not converted or painted but a few more pound notes should see a good base van i hope.

as i said before ive not had much free time to put on to this as of late and with the lack of interested in it progress has been some what slow

the TDI conversion is now finished off and seems to run well. pretty happy with how thats turned out so far

but i could not wait until it was painted to fit the debadge grill and clear indicators

still have this little lot to fit tho including a rear handbrakes that are not in the photo.

and ive also fitted the later style blue and red cluster speedo which i think makes the dash look a lot more modern than the standard white dials

just need to get a few more parts in and then it will be ready to go for paint. should be in paint in a month or two now then its on with the conversion.

also ordered a front arch repair panel from Transporters R Us and the courier bloke throw the box in my garage leaveing me with this to repair which was kind of him

but Transporter R Us were kind enough to offer me a replacement or a discount on this one which was very nice of them and other than the courier issue i can not fault the service
