I have succumbed to SWMBO desire for a single front seat and have acquired one second hand. I now need to seek your advice on changing them over.
Is it as simple as unbolting the double seat and then refitting the single seat on the same mountings.?? I understand that there will be some electrical re-connections to be done. Is the job a DIY one or should I take to to a dealer? Many thanks in anticipation of your advice. Tony |

Thanks for your prompt reply. I'll have a go over the next couple of days, if only to get some peace and quiet from the kids!!
Thanks for your help. Tony |

I think you'll need a T20 Torx driver to unscrew the electrical box from the double seat.
LWB T5 Reimo Trio - It is big and it is clever. |

Thanks Bobley. I found that out this morning as I tried to change the seats over and found one electrical lead firmly fixed to the bracket. Once I found that Torx bit and removed the part, it was a simple changeover.
Now going to check over and update my tool kit to make sure that I have suitable items for the VW. Happy New Year to you all Tony |
