clear or green tint, on a T5 you can get factory limo tint its pointless getting green tint if your having them tinted anyway

You should be able to get from main dealers the light tint for both sides.

We have done this and then had the finall tint fitted once installed.

Hi standard refers to clear glass which has 1.7% visual light transmittance (VLT) basicly this means it is almost opticly clear and almost blocks out no natural light,, Tinted is tinted green which has a visual light transmittance (VLT) of 37% this blocks out 37% of natural light. The nearside and offside glasses are of identical size, only differ with the nearside having a wider obscurationband (black edging) to hide the frame of the door from view from the outside.
VW did not produce a privacy glass of 5% VLT, also slangly known as Limo tint, to the best of my knowledge, we usualy tint them with film, im sure you have a good tinter near you, that can do the same.

Part No,s
703 845 301 AA nearside centre fixed glass standard
703 845 301 S offside centre fixed glass standard

703 845 301 AB nearside centre fixed glass tinted green
703 845 301 T offside centre fixed glass tinted green

i hope this has been of help

Is that a real word?

"A laminated window for a vehicle, for example a windshield, has electrical conductors carried between the plastics interlayer and one of the glass sheets. An obscuration band is fired on to the margin of the inner surface of the outer glass sheet, which obscures from external view conductive strips near the edges of the window." I:

The two types of window are not just tinted or not tinted, one is heat reflecting glass and costs twice as much as the other one, you can't get the limo tint from VW for the T4

Nic, im unaware that VAG ever produced a heat reflecting glass for a T4, if you have any details of it please Pm them to me, We install over 30 T4 side windows a week, and it would be great if i could offer a heat reflecting glass,,, thanks in advance
