i just went to halfords and fitted a new one! easy peasy, but the length of arial is to short to get your head unit out easily! cost around 10

I find a nicely trimmed coathanger works fine. Finely adjusted with a pair of pliers and sprayed the colour of your van. Colour coded antenna !!!
I bought one of those windscreen mounted, supposedly powered aerials and its rubbish.

LOL! mine was snapped when i bought it so i just added a nice loop of coat hanger. Works a treat and if someone wants to break it, it wont cost much to fixA:

I'm thinking of replacing my snapped one with a cb aerial, then using a splitter so it'll work as a radio aerial & for the cb when I get round to fitting it

Mine was snapped when i bought the van so i robbed a roof one off a vauxhall frontera from a scrappy. I bought an extension lead a fitted to my roof.

i use an internal screen mount one when i have to change them a lot easier to fit, and if it gets pulled of in the car wash you will have bigger problems to worry about other than your radio not picking chris moyles up ;)

thats the little buggers i fit.

They undo from the top. 17mm spanner I think.
There is a door on the inner wing below the arial & the lead can be unscrewed from the mast part.
