fronty pads ?????

ive just gone to order pads n discs front n back ,ive tried to get them localy but they want me to mesure discs than take one of the pads front n rear so they can match :(,
so ive gone to order online ,they called me back to ask what calipers do i have on front lucas or t,,,,,,something ,how the fook do i know i only drive it are they all different ??for the 2.5 d 2000 plate ??

Hopefully you should have a sticker on the back/bottom of your fuse box. On it should tell you what braking system you have. Off the top of my head, there is either Lucas or Teves.

If you can't find a sticker (mine doesn't as its missing the cover), whip your wheel off and post a photo of your caliper on here and I'll try and work it out for you.

thanks budT: another thing my brake light started buzing n the warning light came on about 6 months ago , i checked pads n the only sensor on bus is front passanger it looked like there was a break in wire before so i pealed back tape repaired the wires n it did stop the light n buzzer cool
than month later it was back on I:,so i checked the wire comming off the chasis going to brake n its Its bodge taped right back ,is there a way to disconect it ??or isolate it please

Perhaps I should be a bit clearer regarding the vehicle data plate (in and around the driver's footwell). It won't actually say Lucas or Teves braking system.

Instead, it will have lots of codes printed on it. One of these codes specifies your caliper type. Hopefully you will see one of the codes below:

1LU = 15" Wheels. Floating caliper FN3/57 ITT
1LP = 15" Wheels. Floating caliper Lucas C54
1LE = 15" Wheels. Floating frame caliper Lucas RC 54
1LB = 16" Wheels. Floating caliper FN3/57 ITT
