Hi all,
Not sure if this question has been asked. Guessing it has?
So here goes again.

I am doing mods on my T4 at random times rather than in one hit. I am having major issues with inurance companies being happy with an existing mod, but saying they won't insure when I complete another mod.

Obvioulsy loads of mods being done, anyone use an isurer that allows and generally accepts these mods being completed in this manner?

Mods are the norm, van rated alloys, side windows, lowering by 40 mm and conversion to two front seats. Already completed the rear seat addtion that saw the firt change of insurer.

Cheers

i have just been through adrian flux, passed me to equity red star, dont mind the modifications and said any future mods (except perfomance) wont affect my premium. obviously i will have to tell them, but its a bonus knowing that the insurance wont go up

Interestingly enough, through A-Plan, Red Star Equity said no to insuring me when I do the wheel upgrade and demanded an engineers certificate for the fitting of the seats. This after saying there would be no issues with the wheel upgrade, when I first took out insurance.

Another van specialist broker Budget also told me that there would be no issue with the wheels being upgraded, only to say today when I called to confirm it is ok to do the upgrade, told me actually we can't insure you, none of our underwriters will. :* :* :*

Back with Directline at present, but have checked with HIC and in July think I will take a closer look.

Guys once again thanks for the feedback on HIC and the suggestion.
