Not keen on the splitter, seems pointless to me, however I really do like the smoothed tailgate and the VW badge/lock. As a matter of interest how long/how much did that cost?

16-03-08, 20:54

The additional suggestion I would make would be to smooth the drivers side rear quarter panel, where the guide for the side loading door would be if it had one on that side. Other than that it is the mutts.

Well I would say German ebay but these days it's just easier to sit and wait for someone who's mistakenly bought a set for their short nose only to realise they dont fit and then sell them on, having done all the work for you. These scenarios are coming through about 3 times a week.

Or....if you got a short nose one you could just convert to a long nose and then fit the lights.....like the one on this thread......which looks flippin' brilliant by the way! Love the scoop as well.:ILU:

Does the badge mod just weld in and work?

Haven't had the chance to inspect a Golf but I think that's a really nice mod.

Rest of the van is great too. Mind if I ask where you got the bodykit?

Yeah I secretly nosed over two parked at Wolly today I see now...they usually travel in pairs. do you need the bonnet section too to mount the vent or was this fabricated?

refering to the photos on the first page - i think id prefer it witout the high top and the wheels dont do it for me - the long nose looks nice and so does the vent but dont think it all goes together with the high top
