i love the look of those chrome grilles, and i'm told the quality is top-notch, too. however, i was too tight for such a luxurious extra (!), which is why i opted for the regulation (read 'budget') de-badged 'plastic' grille!
I must say, the carbon-look is very cool, but i can't help but feel it would work best on a heavily-modified van, or perhaps a ride fitted with matching 'carbon-look' extras (such as mirror shells or maybe even race-look carbon-fibre bumpers!).
OK... I admit it... I'm jealous of both! :D But, given my recent driving record  , perhaps I'm better off sticking to budget-priced front-end mods! H:

Here's my de-badged grill, there are quite a few on german E-Bay incl. carbon fibre look and are lees than 20. They are made by FK Automotive.

Fakey fibre is not a substitute for the real deal though paul! If someone does a proper CF one for the long nose I'm so there, (Off to Email Carbon Joe...my CA contact!) ;)

Oh don't get me started on German Ebay.... so many lovely toys so little chance of getting the big ones back over here, (multi-van interiors for example)

I've still got some of the stuff I used on the bottom grill which is 3.5 mm,
and the picture in the original thread (below) looks like it says 7 mm on the packet
(see what I mean about the 10 registration fee LOL:)

Awesome, 7mm it is then.

Hmm, 10 on chrome trim or 10 on membership...... the former looks mega cool, but the latter opens up a world of solutions. Tough call!

I'm going with the trim today and membership on payday! Darn end of month decisions...
:( At least this way I have something to keep me occupied in the evenings while waiting for payday to come round! A:

how much of the bottom grille 3.5mm stuff do you have left? Although, am planning on fitting an A bar and i think this may hide the bottom grille anyway so might leave it for now.

cheers

About >..............................................< this much LOL:

but then as the self styled "King of bling" some has been used on other, less tasteful projects :D

...on second thoughts (with mrs's Fatboys guffaws echoing in the background) perhaps not! ;)
