beginning of february purchased a 1.9td diesel pump,advertised as perfect working order...!from a vwt4 forum trade member..!not being a petrol head i dont no what im looking at, i took it to a vw specialists in lincoln,to have it put on..! only to be told it was leaking diesel all over the place,contacted the trade member for refund,only to be told to put new seals in..so the pump advertised on e-bay,and sold to me as perfect working order.needs new seals.. i really dont have the time or spare cash to get this done,thats why i went for one that was working,or so i was told..! have repeatedly asked for a refund now the trade member doesn"t reply.....happy enough to talk to me when selling goods not as described, i welome any advice...............
seems its happening quite more regular now as the £10 subs has gone and the flood gates for rogues are open now,forum traders have logos on there profile but some members just come on here and only reply to the wanted threads offering there parts and getting away without paying trader subs,
its a bit of a tough topic but if it was me id speak to ebay and possibly paypal if the item wasnt as described youll get your money back from them and theyl chase the dealer to get there money back........we should be able to name and shame just so others no not to trust some dodgy dealers......

no good buddy..................travelled, and paid cash.all i got was a receipt.and the original advert..perfect working order.should have known better.

Did you see it on ebay but then buy it privately? If so, ebay's excellent buyer protection wont help you I'm afraid. Sorry for your bad experience but these guys give 3 months warranty on used parts if you still need one http://www.audivwparts.co.uk/
