BUSFEST 2018 EARLY BIRD TICKETS - PRICE

The ADULT Price will £40.00 Per Person. (Children up to & including 16 years FREE Entry).
The CAMPING UNIT Price at £20 for a 7mx7m plot.
(And unlike most other events you will NOT be hit with ANY additional Booking or Delivery Fees).

PLEASE NOTE WE WILL BE APPLYING NEW TICKET PRICES FROM JANUARY 2018 SO BOOK YOUR CAMPING TICKETS NOW BEFORE XMAS TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT (AND SAVE YOURSELF MONEY).

This Early Bird Offer only applies to CAMPING and the WEEKEND DAY VISITOR tickets for BUSFEST 2018

We review our prices every 2 years.
Since we started Busfest in 2012 the ticket prices have been increased by just £5 ie LESS than £1 a year per person. with NO hidden extras. We do not charge for children under 16 and we do not apply ANY extra "Booking" or "Postal" fees which can add another £7 to your bill with some other events.

Check it out, you will find we are not as expensive as some other events you may already be going to (especially if you have children).

On the other side some of our site servicing costs have increased considerably over the past 5 years so we have to keep pace with that and ensure we have the necessary cash flow & measures in place to be able to produce the next event.

This is (one ) of the reasons we have decided to do an "Early Bird" Ticket this year so we do have the necessary cash flow available before the end of the year to be able to progress the next event.
The poor weather at this years event severely depleted the number of Day Visitors attending which is basically the profit line for the event once all the other bills are paid.
I am sure if we just held back and just opened the bookings as usual in the New Year with an increase we would get a lot more criticism than we are now but at least we are giving everyone who does understand what Busfest is about (and what we have had to go through each year to keep it going) a chance to buy their tickets early at a slightly better price. (something that many other events have also been doing for a long time) and give us a better chance of bringing you all a much better event with hopefully better weather next year..

Finally....We have noted most of the comments brought up in this (and other) threads. Many/most of these we have already previously answered and will be actioned.

There will be changes made for next years event (and yes, we will be changing our evening entertainment in the marquee back to something that will hopefully please everybody).
We will revert back to "Family" style Entertainment in the Main Marquee . (of course, the only problem then is that we will still have to restrict access once it is full again :) )
We are also looking to create a "Dog Zone" in the "Southern" half of the marquee but the dog exclusion rule will still have to be applied to the North (Stage Side) of the marquee.
There will be increased security and gate controls in place, in particular in some of the camping areas. (Please note; Despite what you may have heard elsewhere we had just ONE reported theft this year from a camping area & that came in a day after the item had been taken from outside a camper.)

We are also carrying out a complete review of all of the additional services we hire in for the event so there will be some changes in layout and services supplied.
Display wise, next year is our 25th Transporter event at the Showground so we are planning to do something "BIG" display wise.

We will tell you all about that in the New Year, along with our full programme of Entertainment (including what acts we have for the evening entertainment) when contracts are in place & we also re open our booking system for "normal" tickets for the event on January 15th. *<:)>

Hi guys
Busfest yet again buzzin!!

Are we in the orchard again this year? Surly if we are we don't need to go through the brown gate and cruise through the whole site?

The year before last we got in through the traders entrance, does anyone know if we can this year?

Sheep Shead Crew...
