T4 Post Icon Where to buy bushes ?

Hello All
Can anyone recommend where to buy lower arm bushes for my T4 ( x reg 1.9TD SWB 138K miles) I've got excessive play in the front bush N/S. While it's off is it worth replacing all four bushes ( both sides) then when the bottom arms are off do I replace the bottom ball joints or not ????

Cheers all

personally i would just change what needs doing, its an old van now and you could just change everything for the sake of it.just do what needs doing, something else will go wrong soon enough for you to do

We can supply Powerflex bushes if that helps? Feel free to PM me for more info

Personally I'd replace both sides if you were planning on uprating them to polyurethane, then just check the rest while you're under there.

Was only thinking of replacing same with same, but didn't know if I shud use dealer parts or mother factors! Are all bushes the same?
I'm not planning on selling the van so do I replace all four on the lower arms with good quality or just phone my nearest eurocar parts

most motor factor parts are OE anyway. Some of the bigger ones do however sell cheaper alternatives that are not OE.
I always get my bits from motor factors

Dont bother with cheap ones, the rubber on the cheap bushes is appalling, they usually fail within 3 months. I would go OE all the way.

I have always used firstline parts without issue.

I would do all four but I love wasting money!!!

Have u looked into powerflex poly bushes? More money, but supposed to be worth it. I stand to be corrected tho.

I've just done mine along with both upper ball joints. I'd say as you've got have the arm off to do it you may as well replace both

I got new rear bolts for mine too as on the drivers side the bush metal inner had corroded itself to the bolt, we had to cut it out. Passengers side was fine.
