That's about it mate, the front one is not as deep as the newer ones which i think needs to be addressed by a suitable splitter. I haven't got round to doing that yet but hopefully i will soon.
I so want to get my bumpers changed and painted, put in my Saab leather front seats (already got 'em), put in the LED lights, etc etc.... but also want to keep it original ('ish anyway) as much as possible. Its an early '92...
Nice to see one standard again Simonsocial. Reminds me of when i first got my early Velle. Have a go at the old heat gun trick on the bumpers, they will come up like new.
Cheers bud yeah not bad van at all being i only paid £800 for it 6 mths ago,
yeah the kids hand prints was jus a quick cheap easy fix for now to tidy up inside a bit, wanted to use glow in the dark paint but man tht stuff is £££
Can't go any lower because we tow our Puck and use all 9 seats for holidays. Used everyday ( 20k miles in the last 18 months ) and running homebrewed biodiesel
Heres my 92 velle, soon to be converted with pop top and some units, thinking of selling all the interior soon if anyones interested click the link to see pics!
Oooh just found this thread, great looking vans guys.
Thought i'd share some pics that i took of my 1991 2.4d Panelvan at camperjam this year.
Feedback is appreciated
Cheers buddy. Appreciated.
not a minter though as it has a few battle scars mainly the sliding door which has had a dodgy repair by a previous owner (and which i keep meaning to get sorted one day with a respray) But it looks okay with a good clean. maybe selling soon but no idea what sort of price i'd get for it
Cheers buddy. i've been meaning to change them to the later spec bumpers for ages now just find other things to buy instead. Now i'm feeling guilty considering it
Bought a vr6 front splitter last year and realised i couldn't fit it to the early bumper so not sure what to do. maybe i could change them but keep the old ones for the future, if i don't sell it that is
Since my last photos i've T-Cut the entire the van, shampoo'd and waxed it. Also treated the bumpers to some silicon spray (I will heat gun them soon). Here is the updated photos, I still can't believe how much different it looks! Well worth spending some time doing it.
