T4 Post Icon 17" Audi rims, do I need to buy spigot rings

Evening all,

I'm swapping my 16" old audi rims for some new 17" ones, will I need spigot rings to fit hubcentric spacers? And what are spigot rings, what do they do please

Probably not. Spigot rings change the size of the center bore so a wheel with a larger bore fits on a smaller hub.

1st you need to check they are genuine rims and do have a 57.1 centre bore in which case the wheel will go straight on....

If you have bought good quality hubcentric spacers with custom fit 57.1 inner and outer bores, and the wheel is a 57.1 bore then no spigots will be needed...

IF the wheel bore is bigger then yes you will need them..

COnfirmation is needed on the wheels and if genuine and 57.1

cheers si

Thanks both for the replies, yes they are original audi but I will have to check the bore. As for the quality of the spacers I will have to wait till there delivered and check them out
