I know this is going to sound silly, but unless you have already done it (which I have not) then there are no clear rules anywhere.
I have a "C rail" on the roof of my T4. I will be using the awning strip & figure of eight. (so I can use as a drive away).
Q. Do I attach the awning to my awning rail, and then start assembling the poles / peg down etc....
-or-
Do I erect the awning, and then move it the side of my van and attach to the rail, and peg down.
Please take into account the good old british weather, so I should imagine there will be a breeze around when doing the above.
