T5 Post Icon T5 Drivers Comfort seat

I have a drivers seat from a 2006 T5, it is the Comfort seat in the Inca pattern material with the height adjust and the lumbar support.

It has a cigarette burn in the area at the front of the seat in between where your legs would sit and there is a 3 inch split in the right hand bolster down to the metal frame.

I have photos of the damage, the seat is currently being valeted but the remainder of the seat is in good condition. This could be patched up and covered with a seat cover so that it could be used immediately.

This damage is easily repaired with a new cover and/or base/bolster. I also believe that the drivers seat can be converted for use as a passengers seat.

It does not include the seatbase, it is just the seat including the headrest.
Buyer must collect due to size and weight.

180 Ono.

Thank You

Alex

I've tried posting up pics again tonight but with the same result.

I'm picking the seat up tomorrow night so I'll have more of an idea what the full extent of the damage is. I'm also trying to find a matching seat bolster for it.

Weekend Bump!! I've still got it. It's drying out now, the only marks and damage is to the bottom cushion area.

I've stripped all of the plastics off around the bottom, I don't think it would be easy to do unless you could get a passenger base from a VW Caddy and see if you could swap that in.

You can convert the non comfort seats as the side of those are straight and the seat belt receiver just swaps over.

I'm going to fix the split bolster and put new covers on it, it might even end up in my van, who knows??

Cheers

Alex

Hi All,

I've still got this seat, still hunting down an Inca seat base cover for it. On e I've got the tools I'll be stripping the seat down to repair the sponge on the bolster.

I need to clear this from my garage and will take 150 to get rid of it.

The buyer will have to collect due to the size and weight.

Thank You

Alex

Now reduced to clear as it is, I've stripped the seat down and I'm trying to source an Inca cover for the seat base.

I'll take 110 and the buyer collects from Horndean in Hampshire.

I can take it to Beaulieu later this month, I'll be there all weekend.

Cheers

Alex
