T4 Post Icon bbs split rim bolts..

hiya fellas,,, has anyone any experience in spliting rims, looking for the correct tool to undo these......
there bbs split rim bolts.. im looking to split them to paint the centers a new colour...

im not sure you right there mate,, i belive there is a special bbs tool to do these as the splines are different to standard tools..........
just dont know where to get one from...

try your local alloy wheel suppyler or you can ring (wheel power) they are based in toquay sory i dont know the phone number

I just did a quick google search and that's what it came up with.
Also this link shows torques and says about the spline tools, not sure if it can be seen without having an account...

Looks like the safty tourques bits. Is the center peice raised?

I'm pretty certain you can use the standard Torx / Spline bit sets to unscrew them. It should be 12 points and M8. Dont forget that you'll need a rubber mallet to gently tap off the rim edge as it will be fixed on with a sealant.
