HELP PLEASE, we are looking at having a high top roof fitted to our T4, We've been told that the T4 does not require a strengthening frame. Can anyone advise?
Thankyou in advance

We were told the same. Somewhere on here there are drawings of the roof ribs and where it's safe to remove etc. Sorry can't be of any more assistance but the guy who fitted it seemed to know all about this.

Question Re: t4 high top

If you leave above the cab there (b pillar) and then remove from there back to rear and down the sides cut inside the gutter edge leaving the complete gutter part you will be fine. There is a reimo frame that some fit for strength but its more to support the reimo roof kit than supporting the van. Then if a bed up top is needed you can board it and fit wheels and use the gutters as guides to pull bed out on
