A wee trip to the scrappy , 25 quid spent and the How To begins......

Now the first thing to do is remove the covers / shroud and metal brackets and pipework.

I am actually vanless till the end of the week so please bear with me, the details will soon follow.

Or if anyone want to model this for me - come on down !

Part 2 - Remove the Shroud and un necessary bits -

These are the bits we dont need but dont throw them as there are some usefull brackets and isolastic mounts (rubbers)

The fan can be removed or left, Unitil I get my van back I cant tell whats best but wont be long !

Now guys - shall I do a sepeate dedicated how too thread or is this one ok ?

Really interested in this, can you do a separate thread? Great work guys, does it make much difference and is it worth/can one be fitted to the 1.9TD? I think it can,

Thanks,

Robbie

Considering that the core size is bigger than the stock 102 intercooler I think it will make a good deal of difference.

Cant think of a reason why it cant go on the 1.9 as long as you get the pipework.

Chaps,
What diameter are the inlet/outlets of this IC?
Cheers, Phil.

Ron,

Is 1.75" diameter smaller than that of the VW TMIC? (Guessing it'll be same as my 88bhp through pipe at 2.25"?)
If so, is this reduction cause for concern or is it insignificant relative to the resistance through the IC itself?

Re: Injectors... Excellent, can't wait!

Cheers,

Cheers,
Insignificant. It came off a beast.

Been having a quick squizz on fleabay and it looks like the same (or very similar) intercooler was used on the Mitsubishi Pajero and Shogun. There seem to be quite a few up for sale at the moment.
