Default Re: Vango airbeam anyone got one?

the only issue i have is the dark grey colour makes it unbearably hot inside when the suns out, but does hide the dirty marks.

I have a T5 mid top to which I attach by kadar strip my Vango Airbeam Kela Standard. Its good , goes up quick and pack away quickly.
The only issue I have with it is what to do with the attaching section when driving off.
It must need guides ropes to the closest airbeam to where the van was to give structural stability but there are no real instructions on this. I end up with a lashed up mess that works but looks untidy.
Vango don't seem to be able to understand the problem. They have an excellent video on their website of the erection process. Sadly nothing on the driving away tethering.

Anyone any advice.

When you drive away just shorten the straps that go over the van and use them as guy ropes to keep the tents shape and keep it secure
