T4 Post Icon This NEEDS to fit on the van



Just been "given" this wheel! And it NEEDS to go on my van but........I ain't got a clue!!

It's a 1996'

So who's the wheel guru who can help.

I know I'll need a spline adaptor and that's about it!!!!

spline adaptor from a mk3 golf will probably do the trick, about 1 for the scrappy or you can get them new from VW. Good luck making the horn and buttons work

But the horn/indicator cancel would be nice!!

The problem is your new wheel will use a detangler (my word, probably wrong) between the wheel and the column to pass all the wiring through, similar to this one:

As you can see from cole's pics above, they were fitted on later T4s, and the T4 one is apparently compatible with audi wheels to make the horn and airbag work. My wheel is from a 2002 audi a6 and the detangler wont fit my '98 T4, but I havent got too far trying to figure out what the correct part I need is, and what cowling etc is needed. Like I said...good luck
