Default Stenaline

Heading to carfest north this year, from Belfast to Liverpool. Just wondering how you book it on the ferry, car mpv van or motor home camper.

We're booked for the same route in July as "Car/MPV over 2m high", which I think was the cheapest of the options available. Our roof bars push us over 2m and I didn't want to take them off only to find we needed them.

Our van has back windows and seats, so I don't see why it can't be an MPV.

If you have a sink and cooker. they may argue its a camper van, but we don't.

I always book mine on as a car with Stena from Rosslare to Fishguard. Never an issue. In fact I book it on as a car
with all ferry operators.

Heading over for 2 weeks in Cornwall Thursday eve, booked on as an MPV, but then it's a Caravelle so that's what it says on my log book which I bring just in case they argue!

Stena are great, no bother at all from them, even towed me onto the boat and off again as my starter fried itself, even security laughed when they asked me to switch off and step out of the van and I told them I cant switch off as it won't start again. Can't imagine going with anyone else TBH!
