Default Struggling to starting when cold

I know this will have been talked to death but I’m struggling to find and exact answer. My t5 1.9 calls over for a good 10 seconds, sometimes longer before it will start. I’ve had a non return valve fitted between the fuel filter and the tank which hasn’t made a difference. The garage is now suggesting either the tandem pump or injectors. Anyone else changes any of these and had it 100% resolved or anything else I can try?

Thanks

Default Re: Struggling to starting when cold

Is it worse at any particular time, Starting from cold, warm etc? Any other signs, slow to turnover/sounds like the battery is struggling etc? Any unusual sounds such as ‘screaming’, bangs, even pauses?
