I was told by a VW expert never to use veg oil in a 2.5 ? something about the injectors and the seals, I will not be using veg oil thats for sure.

I have a 2.5 tdi & have just put the .216 injectors in, (runs fine with out remap at the mo & no real issues with smoke or lumpyness) havent got as dramatic increase in power as I expected!
Anyway anyone running a 2.5 with these bigger injectors on veg?

2.4 1992 aab diesel
40000+ miles
winter 50/50
summer 80-90% veg
only prob is lumpy starting if cold when you have not dropped down to 50/50 in the winter but it still started every time. i now put in a little bit of petrol in the winter to thin instead of diesel i did about 1.5 gallon to every tankfull and i think its better than diesel for thining,
i would never go back to running on just diesel
