party Re: The Caddy 2K Project (Let's Update Things)

Right, a little update.

Fake Lead Flashing, Camping Mats and Space Blankets
Grand Total of 58.79

So there you go, a layer of flashing, yoga mat, then a runner's space blanket.
All glued, with added tape for the sake of it
I started to cover the arches with the flashing as well.

Will it work? Who knows, but it didn't cost an arm and a leg.
Makes me feel better

Oh and I found these in a Motorhome (I'll replace them, promise)

More to come

Hi Dad, ;)

Stripped out the plywood from my Maxi yesterday finding similar horrors.

Found one design issue. If anything (such as oil) has been spilt in the back it can drain under the kick plate in the side door, around the wiring and down a hole into the back of the passenger compartment. Trying cat litter to soak it up.

Keep posting updates. Currently working out what I want to do with my van.

I think these Caddy's are taking off as a smaller T4 replacement

I'll look out for your thread
Sounds a plan.

A little update

Just some random stuff I've been doing.

Don't like the colour of these A/B pillar parts,
So thinking of sending them off for flocking as I've never done this.

Then I thou I'd take a look at the steering problem.
Airbag off and change the steering position sensor. Still need to reset it on Vag Com.

Then I removed the a pillar quarter windows.

Still loads more exciting stuff to do

I suspect they'll be facelift Touran/Caddy parts.
