T4 Post Icon Mysterious "Oil" Leak

whenever I leave the van parked overnight I have a small 'oil' patch appear underneath from the LH Side (looking at the front of Van). This has been occurring for a few weeks now but I can not locate where this leak is coming from. Also mysteriously I see no drop in Oil level, nor Brake Fluid or Steering Fluid.

Does anyone have any idea as to what it could be and where I should start looking, before I try and take the whole engine out to look.

I have a 1996 LHD 2.5 TDi with 330k km on the clock.

Check the bleed off pipes for the injectors.
The last one is "capped off" and is about where you think the drops on the drive are.
Very common for it to leak, and very cheap to fix!

If you have the "belly pan" on, it can drip just about anywhere depending upon the angle you park at.

The leak could be coming from the oil cooler and or the oil cooler bracket.

A kiss is just shopping upstairs for merchandise downstairs .

I have a small oily patch on the drive, drivers side front. Found a small split in the CV joint gaiter and grease has been flung out onto the surrounding area.

Glued up the split and s'all good.

I had a leak which left spots that started not long after driving from Edinburgh to Malaga over the Pyrenees and back. I actually started after hit a speed bump with quite a bang.
Anyway it got worse and worse 2 litres of Lucas stop leak later and the sytem couldnt hold a drop. Oil everywhere and no power steering and a mechanic said a new rack is gonna cost 1250 plus fitting.
I looked into refurbs and you tube and decided to get the belly pan off and take a closer look. Oil all over the place but the pump was bone dry.
Onto t4 forum and a kindly thread mentioned replacing the cooling pipe.
So i started at the top and removed the expansion bottle and set it aside and there, right in front of my eyes was the rubber return pipe unattached gaping at me, i thought that must have been worked off by the expansion tank on all the unavoidable bumps in Edinburgh.
I retentioned the hose clip and pushed the hose and clip right up to the second ridge.
Topped up the system and hey presto the Jammiest repair ever,
So i am well chuffed i braved that as a garage coukd have milked that one.
