T4 Post Icon spongy Clutch

Hi there guys just been noticing while very gently resting my foot on the clutch its seems to go down pretty low and feel a little spongy, soon as i take my foot off and engage the clutch its seems fine,, anyone else had any problems like this?

Not had problems like that but how old is your hydraulic fluid if over two years it needs replacing because it absorbs moisture (hygroscopic) and becomes a liability to safety, if it overheats the moisture can boil and then no brakes.
Have you checked your reservoir level. Just the one shared reservoir.
worth bleeding just to check there is no air hiding in there.

I think you should start saving for a clutch job, slave cylinder is about to go and it will start leaking soon...they leak inside the gearbox if 102 bhp model or external is 88 bhp...

Oh dear,, when do they normally need doing i brought my van with 96k on the clock and have no paper work saying its been done

I guess this is a T4 we're talking about a T4 check your pedal box isn't cracked where the master cylinder is mounted
